The Digz Story
Digz 4 Dignity was created as a result of a personal trauma. Finding himself in the hospital for almost 4 weeks, Michael Glynn, founder, knew it was time to make a change in the current hospital gown system.
Not sure what his diagnosis was going to be, Michael understood the anxiety and frustration a patient feels. Being placed in an antiquated open-backed gown, his experience of humility and vulnerability drove him to make a positive change. Now fully recovered, Michael is focused on removing this degrading and demeaning practice from other patients’ medical experience.
Digz 4 Dignity has assembled a team of highly qualified professionals including physicians, nurses, fashion designers and market specialists to develop several distinct garments. The designs will continue to allow medical personnel easy access during procedures as well as adding a customized approach to both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
The goal of the product is to improve and promote patient comfort. The addition of a silver coating can add to patient peace of mind due to its microbial growth inhibiting properties. With the awareness of patient advocacy on the rise, companies and health care institutions partnering with Digz 4 Dignity will ensure a higher level of satisfaction for both patients and family members.
Our goal is to support organizations in the quest to provide patient comfort, personal dignity, protection, and excellence in customer satisfaction.
